KarteDescription

With "everygain Translator" you get an extension for Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, which is helping you on translating anything anywhere.

The main advantage in comparison to other online translation tools (like the Google Toolbar) is that you don't have to translate the whole page and can select the part of the text you want to get translated.

For the translations the everygain Translation is using google's translation API and since version 1.1 also bing's Translator API .

Translate any text

Demo If you want to translate any text on any page you just have to select the text with your mouse and click on the icon of everygain Translator in the statusbar of Firefox (at the very bottom) or in the iconbar of Chrome (right next of the address bar).
After a click on the icon you get directly the translation of the selected text.

Screenshot Rechtsklick In Firefox you can also activate the translation via the context menu. Simply mark the text to be translated, click the right mouse button and select the right choice.

Translation on certain pages (currently only in Firefox available)

Facebook On Facebook you have the opportunity to translate all the status updates and also the individual comments.
Something special is the translation within the Facebook chat.
Imagine you have commented a picture on Facebook and a friend of yours comments the same picture in a foreign language, like Spanish. You can activate an automatic, machine translation just with one click, so that you understand at least what it is about in the comment.
The big advantage in the machine translation of Facebook chats is that you can translate super-fast the message. So theoretically, you could talk to someone whose language you do not know.

Forum Most forums look like each other, because they are based on the same script. In the popular scripts you can translate any posting with the everygain Translator. If you encounter a forum where the everygain Translator does not work, we would appreciate a brief message here.

Twitter In Twitter you can translate all tweets individually by a simple click.
